About project: Komerční banka in Prague - Holešovice underwent a complete modernization. We equipped the branch with new furniture and design elements designed by Reaktor studio. The visually clean furniture follows the new modern interior design with its modularity and flexibility.
Right at the entrance, clients are greeted by the slogan “We plant the green future” on a powder-coated metal grid. The green plants here provide a sufficient contrast to the industrial style, emphasising the meaning of the words. The rounded shapes of the cabinets and tables reflect the current possibilities of digital technologies. More stressed elements such as the table tops are made of high-pressure laminate. This prevents quick wear out of the equipment. On the other hand, for backroom cabinets or containers that are not as heavily used, we chose more cost-effective laminated chipboard.
We have applied our extensive experience from a number of successful fit-outs, particularly in the implementation of staff room with a kitchen, which we adapted to the space. We also optimised some of the other equipment to make the redesign of the other branches run more smoothly.
Among other things, we also process plastics in our production and install electrical wiring. We have therefore added plastic components and LED lighting to some of the design elements. These are round lights that illuminate the space in a subtle and natural way. This contributes to a cosy atmosphere that focuses on the customer and their comfort more than on the bank. This intention is also supported by elements made of natural materials, in particular solid wood and oak veneer.
