The 23rd May Regatta has started

After Sunday's training and the opening ceremony, all 14 crews set off for the first leg of this year's May Regatta. After 33 miles, all boats arrived at the marina in Veli Iz. The navigation race also includes the popular night leg, which this year ran from Rutnajk Island to Sali Harbour on Dugi Otok.

The May Regatta has been held regularly in Croatian waters since 2001, when it was founded by passionate sailor Jiri Jelinek. Since 2013 it has been sponsored by MORIS design, whose founder Radomír Klofáč was a frequent participant in the race.
